Barefoot Movement
Since 2011, progressive acoustic band The Barefoot Movement has been recording and touring internationally, winning a 2014 IBMA “Momentum Band of the Award,” and releasing numerous albums, EPs, and singles. We welcome them back to Blueberry Music Festival where they previously appeared in 2019.
From North Carolina, Tommy Norris and Noah Wall met in high school where Wall was involved in theater and also played the fiddle. Norris had a rock band, and after initially rebuffing his desire to make music together, Wall approached him. The original barefoot movement was born, a band well-known for original music and explosive covers of familiar songs.
2025 finds the band's songwriting and performance more personal, revealing vulnerable aspects of the couple’s relationship. Armed with newfound freedom, The Barefoot Movement is a band transformed through a creative renaissance, and propelling them into a new era focusing on the duo aspect of their group while performing as a four-piece band.
