What do Axel Prahl, Andreas Bourani, The Hooters and James Newton Howard have in common? The answer is: joint guest performances with Hanne Kah. The band is quite surprising in many ways. The four-member formation from Mainz, Germany, not only offers a thematic and cultural ambition, but also knows how to unite musical genres and generations (in line with its mission).
Somewhere between role models like Amy MacDonald, Mumford & Sons and Rosanne Cash, the band has managed to find and shape their own sound around the exceptional voice of their singer, Hanne Kah. They bravely and confidently established the genre "Outlaw Music" in their own timbre, which was hasn’t been heard from a German band before.
Hanne Kah has already earned permanent places at international festivals in Canada and overseas.
European band requests, appearances in Canada and the USA, as well as the collaboration with the exceptional Dutch musician JB Meijers, who is known to everyone since the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, shows that the band lives up to international standards. Hanne Kah is undoubtedly one of the leaders in a new zeitgeist. And across generations!
Hanne Kah-vocals/guitar, is joined by Patrick Jost-vocals/guitar, Nikias Quernheim-vocals/bass, and Malte Schmidt-drums.
